Dear STES Team,
Now is the time to put it all together! Come out to the second event in the Cold Front Regatta Series! It will be a one day regatta this Saturday, December 13 at Lakewood Yacht Club. Please plan to be at LYC at 8:15 and be there until about 4 or 5 (it will all depend how many races are run that day.) Bring water, snacks and a lunch.
I have attached the Notice of Race (NOR). Please note that while the NOR says that it is a series of 2-day events, there was an overall change to 1-day events for this series.
Please plan to come and learn how the regattas work. This is an easy regatta to try out all of your new skills.
Added reason to come out, Clayton Harrell will be attending and on a race committee boat to see the hard work that you all put into it!
I will bring your rash guards!!
After hearing from several of you, the team dinner is being postponed until a later date. Your team captains will be talking to you about a good time to do it.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. I hope that you all will be able to sail Saturday! This is the fun stuff!
